if there are over 2000 pages full of threads, how would I get the idea that reading the last 10 pages will answer my question?
Common sense. You ask yourself, is there a non-zero possibility that someone answered my question recently? The answer is yes. Then you ask yourself, how far back should I reasonably read back? I would say last 10 pages, maybe more, maybe less. Then you actually do it.
By your own definition, you won't even read the comments on the current page as
how would I get the idea reading what's in my face may answer my question?
This is why you're lazy. This is why you're disrespectful. Because you refuse to sacrifice an ounce of your time to answer your own fucking question, and instead expect others to spoon feed it to you on a silver platter, with no effort on your end.
But now, probably day 110 or so when I try to leave the house I get this message:
"WARNING: THESE SCENES ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYED AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE GAME" followed by something to the effect of you can do it anyway but it might break the story.
So, what does this mean exactly? I have no idea if I'm still early in the game, or middle, or near the end of current content. My relationship level with the characters is in the teens and 20s, and yeah I've been visiting the few town locations that are still open (most say that they're at the end of current content.) Are town locations not meant to be available for the full game? Is there some event pending that will change things? What will happen if I ignore the warning and leave the hotel? And will I be able to continue taking advantage of the local temporal phenomena at the bowling alley to win prize money?
See, now this is a good question. Hasn't been asked recently, kinda obscure, not even sure if the answer's on the wiki.
Runey's currently developing the "explore town" content. The events are supposed to evolve as you progress into the game, except the late-game town events aren't in the game yet.
Personally, I haven't had any issues, with the bowling alley or elsewhere. Just keep a save file before accessing the town, just in case, and then play. You'll know if you're in late-game if the MC's attitudes/characteristics don't really jive with the main events. Or if the MC meets people in town, and don't recognize them despite having a sustained relationship with those people in the main events.
For example, have you played until the last Lin event?
She goes full abolitionist and passionate about abolishing elf slavery. Then you go into the town and there's one event in the slums where the MC seems pretty indifferent to slavery. Which totally contradicts Lin's late-game events, because those Lin events were supposed to come after the town events.
You can see how much in the game you are by checking how many events you have left for the characters, BTW. For example,
You must be registered to see the links
. How many of her events have you completed? Should be able to check the stat on the upper left or right bar.
