If you want to try using this with the translated version, download, unzip. Rename to
patch2.xp3
and copy into the game installation
Note:
with this game engine (Kirikiri) the game as released is usually data.xp3 and would be the Japanese version. The files patch.xp3, patch2.xp3 etc are loaded after it and will replace those parts of the game.
Also: unsure if patch1.xp3 is 'legal' so suggest you avoid
keep getting error messages in battles like (quest f batle???? evebtl-2-c1????????? ?????? return) and if i play in japanese local same but with japanese language

I've been playing since Aria defeated the slime and got the holy sword and to the point where Weldien is back in the capital and is with the princess. I've been unable to save and it has taken 20-30 mins.

These are the only two places to save, other than the starting point during the fifth quest.

Well, each quest is only 5-15 minutes, really.
Then you have two save windows. I'm really glad they give so many save slots, too.

I appreciate your responding to me though.Most of it is male/monster on female: there are unavoidable, main story scenes that are one of the two, main men, or one of the bosses with one or more of the three grils. Other than that, all three women can be kept as female, or be made hermaphrodites, which is reflected in each scene with them. There are at least three scenes which are lesbian, with or without beepi.

So, I finished the game the first time with a bad end, so I'm now trying to complete all the quests with the hidden bosses too. I'm stuck at the Quest C, though, so I need some help. I'm trying to beat the Sisters, destroying all the stone altars to nerf them, even the hidden ones. I counted three specular couples, but when I battle them, the game count me as if there are more active, but I'm sure I checked everywhere. Does anybody know if I'm missing something? In the screenshot I didn't do it yet because it's a fresh try.

There's literally no such thing as "objectively better." Preferences are subjective. "Better" indicates a preference.
After the initial tentacle scene, you have 10 health. You can't survive a hit.
Use a healing potion. They're the things that look like healing potions.
